How do I install background music or just music to my mugen?

You guys won’t even believe how many times I tried to install music to Mugen. But each time I tried, it never works so I wanted to know more ways of installing it.

    I think this really depends what version of mugen your using. Most mugen programs play almost all forms of music (i.e mp3, midi, wav) But the newer or “Hacked” versions of mugen may only play certain music format like ogg vorbis. I have to forms of mugen I have a hi-res mugen and a mugen that only plays hi-res stages. For some odd reason my hi-res mugen only plays ogg vorbis format while my hi-res stages mugen plays all formats. SO if didn’t try the other music formats my suggestion is to try ogg vorbis first. There is a program call audacity that will allow to change all your mp3 files into ogg vorbis files without having to lose your mp3 files in the process. Just google or yahoo it. Hope this helps.
