What style of music do you recommend playing at a garage sale?

Jen asked:

I’m having a garage sale this weekend. I”m not new to garage sales… I’ve had many over the years, and I always play music in the background. I generally go with either country or “adult contemporary” stations on the radio. But I’m curious about the affects of different music styles on shoppers. Has anybody tried anything different at your sales, and what’s your experience? I’m thinking of maybe playing some salsa or reggae music for fun. What do you think?

i would advise something low key. You don’t want to put off customers.A nice background music not to loud. Light pop music for example. Good luck with your sale
